Design Notes
This part is designed as a modular head for the CAAR receptor we created in our project. This enables the extracellular part of the receptor to be inerchangeable. It has both BsmBI restriction sites and the restriction sites needed in order for us to be able to clone it in our PGK C1 acceptor plasmid after it is fused with the modular transmembrane-intracellular part of the CAAR.
